ABOUT ME
👋🏼 I’m an Anglo-Chinese writer-director based in London.
My work tends to blend fictional and documentary elements and techniques.It has been commissioned by the Barbican and Artangel, featured on Director’s Notes and Booooooooom, and screened at the Oscar and Bafta-eligible festivals like SXSW, LSFF, Aesthetica and BFIFFF.
Familiar with the complexities of straddling diverse identities in my own life, I’m particularly interested in how the minutiae can build immersive, authentic worlds and characters. This is part of a wider desire to create narratives that feel genuine and rooted in the nuanced complexities of life.
